Happy Mother’s Day to my mom and all the amazing mama’s out there. Moms come in different stripes – biological, step, grandma, foster, adopted, spiritual moms etc.
She’s mom, a hugger, counselor, tutor, coach, prayer warrior, unshakeable, unbreakable, wise, helper, cook, driver, cheerleader, relentless, resilient, supporter, nurse, therapist, financier, multitasker, strategist, seamstress, preacher, encourager, witty, negotiator, and on and on and on.

The writer of the book of Proverbs nailed it and then some in Proverbs 31:30. To limit the worth of our moms to fleeting attributes like charm and beauty would be like selling them short for 10 cents. Yes, our mamas are beautiful, radiant and classy. But above all else, the greatest legacy and inheritance any mom can give her seeds is to train her children in the way of the Lord and show them by example how to serve the Lord and obey His commandments. Let me tell ya, that kinda momma not only earns the praise of men, and her generations to come, she earns the praise of the Lord when He says “Well done, good and faithful servant…” (Matthew 25:21).
Have a happy and blessed Mother’s day.
Until we meet again, work it out*
*work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12)
Thanks a lot my darling sweetheart, may you continue to grow in God’s wisdom and knowledge, more grace to you,
